First step is to get some new fabric applied to the inside of the hull. This closes up the hole and makes it look seamless on the inside. This is a Kevlar/carbon fiber blend. Kevlar does not sand well, it just goes fuzzy, and is a real pain to work with for repairs.

A view from the inside.

Its not too difficult to get the structural work done on laminate canoes. The real "work" comes with the cosmetic aspects of blending and polishing. With a pattern weave like this Kevlar/carbon fiber blend, it is difficult to get the weave to blend in invisibly.
Not too bad.
"Ah, the magic of stumbling upon words that feel like they were plucked straight from the universe’s own diary! There’s something utterly delicious about reading a piece that lingers in your mind long after the screen dims—like the aftertaste of a perfectly brewed cup of thought. Whether it’s the rhythm, the raw honesty, or those ‘aha!’ moments tucked between the lines, this is the kind of writing that doesn’t just speak; it *whispers* to the soul. Keep turning the ordinary into extraordinary—we’re all here for it! 🌌" dark markets 2025
