Indian Girl

Evoking the elegant paddling days long gone, the Indian Girl model is styled after the Indian Girl model made famous by J. Henry Rushton. 

While technically not an exact replica in that we build this model on our Pleasure mould, we use the same stem and sheer profile, deck, thwart, gunnel and seat patterns taken directly from plans for the Rushton 16' Indian Girl model.  After examining the hull drawings in the plans, we determined that our Pleasure model was so close to the Rushton original that building a new mould was not warranted.  Alternately, we can apply this styling trim package to any of our canoe models.

No photos available.  So far, while we've had inquiries, all of our clients have chosen the lower Chestnut/Peterborough style sheer that is our standard offering.
